The recently restored Palace of Porphyrogenitus,known as Tekfur Sarayı in Turkish, is a rare example of Byzantine palaces that once adorned the city of Constantinople. A visit to this site takes you back to the times that are long gone but are no doubt an important part of the history of Istanbul.
